Who are we?

Varied nature and factual encounters, excursions, gymnastics, actions, intensive cooperation with parents. The parent-child group "Hohenheimer Küken e. V." is an independent organization and offers all-day care for 10 children from 0 - 3 years. As a parent initiative, participation in various services and childcare is required. This creates a close bond with the team, the association and, of course, with your own and the other children in the group.

What may sound time-consuming at first, is perhaps also the greatest advantage of our group - the parents participate in the daily work and thus have a good insight into the group activities and become a part of the Hohenheim Küken daycare.

Our association

The Hohenheimer Küken e.V. is a parent-child group with a history of over 30 years. We want to give studying or working parents a perspective for their everyday life and offer the children the opportunity to develop in a familiar group. With the operation of our day care center, we fulfill our association's purpose of promoting the joint education of young children as well as the involvement of parents in the Bereuung.so the parents take on important roles such as board offices and parent services with us. As a result, they are involved in large parts of the decision-making processes of the daycare center.

We are a member of the umbrella organization of the Stuttgart Parent Child Groups and the PARITÄTischen. We are mainly supported by funds from the city of Stuttgart, state subsidies and our own contributions.

Our objectives

Our primary goal is for the children to feel comfortable in the group, because only then is development possible. The group enables the children to experience community with others and to detach themselves from the family for a certain time, to make contact with other children and to build new relationships.

It is important to us that the children can develop holistically. To this end, we offer the children:

➔to be independent and to do as much as possible themselves

➔to experience body, material and sensory experiences

➔to experience and discover nature

➔get to know and understand their spatial environment ➔learn basic skills and broaden their horizons of experience ➔experience a variety of movements.

Due to the good staffing of the group, it is possible to respond to the needs of the individual children, to respect their individuality and to "pick up each child where he or she stands".
